Dearest Sardine, you are utterly adorable! That fluffy, soft-looking fur is so pretty, white with brown and some orange Tabby patches. What a sweet face you have, with that cute pink nose and the big perky ears and those lovely big eyes that blend right in with your fur colors. And I love those cute mostly-pink paw pads! Thank you for sharing those great photos with us. You are absolutely stunning in them all, looking so relaxed and comfortable in them. I wish I could reach through the screen and down to West Palm Beach, FL to pet you, and pet your three siblings and other eight kitties and two doggies, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you all for me
.
And what an amazing story you have to tell! You and your siblings were all born outside to a feral mother. The shelter was full, and your dear Purrrson-to-be agreed to foster you all. She/he has never regretted adding "the fabulous foursome" to her/his group! You have the most delightful Purrrsonality. You're "the pot stirrer of the group." You're full of energy and get up to all kinds of antics and mischief. Your Purrrson speaks sternly to you at least three times a day but also says you're funny and fun. You watch TV, fascinated, when animals are on the screen. You even enjoy being vacuumed! You're a character, for sure, and you all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Sardine, on being chosen Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrson and siblings and other kitties and doggies and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats and maybe even another vacuuming session!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
