Dearest Earl, what a beautiful Greyhound you are! Your glossy dark coat is gorgeous, and don't you ever have the sweetest face with those lovely big brown eyes! Thank you for sharing all those great photos with us. You look so contented and so happy, and that mouth looks like it's in the biggest of smiles (and probably is!).
And what a story your dear people have to tell! You were very timid, and you needed their love in an indifferent world. They did everything they could to give you the space to be happy and content. What a beautiful testament to love and joy they have written about your lives together! It's so full of anecdotes and loving activities. You loved your bed, your yard, your bones, and getting your teeth brushed! I'm so sorry you had to leave them at age twelve years and five months.
Now you are a glorious Angel at the Rainbow Bridge, whole and healthy, playing and resting with so many other beloved Angel pets. Your dear people miss you so very much, and they feel so blessed to have been able to adopt you and give you the new, wonderful life you deserved. Please send some Angelic sniffs to them, to remind them that you are with them always, you're watching over them and sending down love, and you will all be together again, One Fine Day.
Congratulations, darling Angel Earl, on being chosen Dog of the Day! We hope you and your dear people are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite Angelic games and treats. We know the other Angels are all rejoicing with you!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
