Dearest Maxwell Moogington and Phoebe Fannakerpan, what a marvelous fabulous pair of beauties you are! Maxwell, you're a beautiful brown-black Tabby and white guy, and Phoebe, you're a gorgeous Calico girl. You are both so pretty in that great photo, and thank you for sharing it with us. You look like you're kind of play-fighting there, but what really comes through so well is how close and loving you actually are together! I wish I could reach through the screen and across the sea to Pontypridd, South Wales, in the UK to pet you both, and pet your other two dear kitty housemates, too! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you all for me .

Maxwell, you're eight years old, and you met your dear Purrrsons-to-be at the RSPCA. They had come to adopt a kitten, but they saw you, "the oldest ,, ugliest, scrawn bucket of a moggy you have ever seen!" They were afraid if they didn't take you home, no one else would! And so they did, they took you HOME! It took two years to tame you, but it's been well worth it. And Phoebe, a.k.a. Pheebs, you're two years old and new to the family. You were abandoned for six weeks after your previous "family" moved and did not take you. Words cannot express my rage and disgust at the alleged-humans who left you like that. I'm so very glad and grateful that you were rescued and then found your Purrrmanent Purrrfect HOME with your dear Maxwell and Furrrever Family!

What delightful Purrrsonalities you both have! Maxwell, you're the most loving and affectionate of all you kitties. You present a glove from your collection to your dear Purrrsons one at a time. Perhaps you think the gloves are your kittens? And Phoebe, you were just recently befriended by Maxwell. Now you are always together and love each other dearly!! You and your Purrrsons and kitty housemates all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Maxwell and Phoebe, on being chosen today's Cats of the Day! We hope you and your dear kitty housemates and Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

What a beautiful bonded pair you two kids make! And if your obvious beauty, your over the top antics and sparkling purrsonalities weren't reason enough to recommend you I give you those names...yours and your village's name!

It may have taken some time (OK, 2 years, lol) before you, Maxwell, would transform yourself from the scrawny, bedraggled, ferocious beastie into the affectionate, sweet and loving boy we meet here today. But just as your Mom says, so worth the effort and wait!

As for you, dear Pheebs. It's unconscionable that any so called family could leave behind a family member, a helpless young kitty, to fend for herself for even one day, let alone 6 weeks!!! How you managed to survive is nothing short of miraculous. Thank goodness you were found in time, landing in the bestest furever home ever, complete with a best furry bro to bond with!

He has recently befriended our new two-year-old girl Pheebs, (who was abandoned for six weeks after her family moved and did not take her). They are always together and love each other dearly !!

You two sweeties may have started life off on shaky ground, your fates uncertain, but blessedly the stars aligned and the rest is happy history! How lucky you two are, having not only one another (and 2 more fur siblings!) to bond with, to play and cuddle with, but a devoted human as well, providing you with all the love your hearts can hold! But of course we know your Mom is the luckiest of all, surrounded by so much furry love and devoted companionship!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, kids! Meeting you today, reading your backstories, your Mom's love filled tribute, seeing your heart-melting photo has been such a treat! I hope you're both enjoying a very special Cat of the Day celebration...scampering and playing about the house and grounds with the entire fur crew; feasting on some yummy vittles; being loved and pampered to pieces by your entire family! Lots of love, cuddles and kisses to you, precious Pheebs and Max, our very special and most deserving Cats of the Day, EVERY day!!! Love to your other fur sibs, too! As for visiting you in beautiful Pontypridd in South Wales...a girl can dream!
