Dearest Pepper Angel, what a lovely, precious little Syrian Hamster you are! Your sweetness and beauty come through so clearly in that great photo, and thank you for sharing it with us. What a wonderful story you have to tell! Your dear young friend-to-be had wanted a hamster for a long time. She/he finally convinced Mom to let her/him get one. She/he had to wait two months to get you, but you were so very much worth the wait! Your delightful personality came through right from the start. You were so sweet (still are, and always will be!). You've never bitten anyone, and you love attention. You also love your food, and you even came in third in the hamster ball race! (Though as far as your friend is concerned, you are and always will be number one!)
I was so sorry to learn how you became ill with respiratory and eye infections. You were not getting better, and you were suffering. Finally, your dear friend made decision, so difficult and painful but so necessary, to let you go. She will miss you always, and you will always have a special place in her heart. You love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home and life and time together you've shared and always will! Everyone who ever met you (even your doggie housemate Riley, who was afraid of you!) misses you very much.
Now you are a glorious Angel at the Rainbow Bridge, dearest Pepper, whole and healthy again, watching over your dear friend and all your family, and sending down love. Please send some Angelic wheeks to their hearts, reassuring them that all is well, you are with them always, and you will all be together again, One Fine Day...
Congratulations, darling Pepper Angel, on being chosen today's Pet of the Day! We hope you and your dear friend and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite Angelic games and treats. We know the other Angels are rejoicing with you at the Bridge!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
