Dearest Licorice, a.k.a. Licky, what a gorgeous guy you are! You are absolutely stunning, with that glossy, fluffy black fur that looks so soft and that sweet face with those lovely big golden eyes gazing hypnotically out at me. You're so beautiful and look so comfortable in that great photo, and thank you for sharing it with us. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Chandler, AZ to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me .

And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! Your dear Purrrson says you are the most special cat in the world, and I think he/she may be on to something there. You're "the cutest and most loving cat in the whole universe." When she/he went to the shelter to adopt a cat, you came up and started to nuzzle and lick her. That sealed it! You went HOME together that day! That lick plus your sweetness led to your new name: Who doesn't love black lick-o-rice, right? You grew up to be the big handsome boy we see in the photo, with your fur that you keep so shiny and clean. You're the best cat ever, so lovely and lovable indeed! You two love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Oh my! What a beautiful Bombay boy you are, Licorice! Your impeccably clean, sleek and shiny black coat is gorgeous, and how striking a contrast to your sparkling yellow eyes! But as beautiful as you are in looks, just as your human says, it's not your stunning good looks alone that makes you the extra special boy that you are!

here are a lot of things that make my cat a very special cat, but there is one thing that makes him the most special cat in the world. That thing is that he is the cutest and most loving cat in the whole universe. When I went up to him at the pet pound when I was considering a new companion, he came out and just started to nuzzle me and lick me. That's when I new that I had to get him.

Just one nuzzle, just one lick and the deal was sealed! How lucky your human was, having been chosen by you to be your one and only that wonderful day at the shelter! And how, how special it must be, being on the receiving end of those sweet, yummy Lick-orice licks!

Endless thanks to your human for choosing rescue, opening up her home and heart to one EXTRA special boy! You met your person at the shelter that day...
