Lovely Fred Angel!
Dearest Fred, a.k.a. Freddy, Frederika, Fredman, Fredster, Fredamundo, Freddygirl, and Fred Frederson from Fredland, what a lovely Angel lady you are! You are so beautiful with that fluffy white fur with big grey patches and that sweet face with the cute pink nose and lovely big golden eyes and what looks like a big smile (and probably is!). And what a terrific photograph that is! You are so pretty, so PURRRfectly-posed among all those plants. I wish I could reach through the screen and ..all the way to the Rainbow Bridge! ..to pet you. I can't, of course, but I know the other Angels are petting you for me
.
And what a lovely tribute your dear Purrrson has written about you. You adopted your Purrrsons at age three years because your mummy had allergies, and you and they had ten wonderful years together on earth. You have the most delightful Purrrsonality, so pretty and refined! You loved to be brushed every day, and you loved to sleep. I'm sure you still do, and I'm sure the other Angels are brushing you now as you snooze! Your Purrrsons treasure their memories of your lovely, sweet self, of how sweet you are and how lucky they've been to have you in their lives. You're "so very shy and loving and exquisitely beautiful." You and they love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful home you have shared and always will!
Now you are a glorious Angel at the Rainbow Bridge, whole and healthy again and watching over your dear Purrrsons. Please send some Angelic purrrs to their hearts to reassure them that you are with them always, sending down love, and you will all be together again, One Fine Day...
Congratulations, darling Fred, on being chosen Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite Angelic games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
