    Precious Young Rudie!

Dearest Rudie, what a precious young man you are indeed! You are absolutely beautiful in that great larger-than-life photo, and thank you for sharing it with us. That grey and white Tabby fur is so pretty and looks so very soft, and what a sweet face you have with those pale-pink ears and the two-tone nose and long, LOOOOONG white whiskers and eyebrows and those lovely big pale-green eyes outlined in grey. You look like such a happy growing boy! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Maryland to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will pet you for me .

And what a story you have to tell.. You and your dear sibling were found on the streets just a day or two after you'd been born, poor little helpless kittens still with your umbilical cords. I'm so sorry to learn that, sadly, your sibling didn't survive, but I'm so glad and grateful that you did. You were a fighter right from the start, and you thrived with love, care, and kitten formula.

Now you are a big boy of ten and a half months of age, with the most delightful Purrrsonality. You were named for a ska song, "A Message to You, Rudie" by The Specials, and you may be a "rude boi" sometimes! Your dear Purrrson says you may look all grown up, but you're a kitten at heart, very much so! Your favorite things to do are biting and climbing your Purrrsons and playing fetch. You and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Rudie, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. I know your sibling-Angel is rejoicing with you at the Rainbow Bridge!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Hello, Rudie in Maryland! Happy Cat of the Day!

Here's my message to you - What a gorgeous gentleman you are! I like your sweet face, your l-o-n-g whiskers, and your grey tabby and white fur ! Your coat looks very soft to pet- I would be delighted if your people would give you lots of petting and hugs for me!

You were adopted from your people's friend, who fosters bottle babies. You were found with your sibling as nearly new-born kittens. You received loving care (and kitten formula), and you thrived!

Now you are a most handsome big kitten - busy climbing your people, playing fetch, and sometimes biting (which might not be such a good idea). You are still very much a kitten at heart! Best of all - you are a much-loved kitty! PURRRRR-fect!

Happy, happy Cat of the Day to sweet Rudie!

    Precious Rudie!

Good morning, Rudie! Congratulations on being crowned Cat of the Day, sweetheart!

What an amazing, heartening, rags to riches story is yours, Rudie! Oh my, to think you and your sibling were found at the roadside, newly born, umbilical cords still attached blows my mind! It truly is a miracle that you were found in time by your hero rescuer! I'm so very sorry to hear your sibling didn't make it, Rudie. But to say you are a survivor doesn't do justice to your indomitable fighting spirit, your will to live (with a little help from your rescuer and family)!

We adopted him from a friend who fosters bottle babies. His sibling and he were found on the streets around one to two days after they were born, poor helpless kittens, they still had their umbilical cords! His sibling sadly didn't make it, but he's a fighter and thrived with love, care and kitten formula.
Endless thanks to your furever family for welcoming you into their home and hearts, providing you with the happy, carefree and love filled life you so deserve! And it's great to hear that you're still in kitten mode, hehe, spicing up your humans' lives with your fighting spirit, your "rude boi" cat-itude and antics! How lucky your humans are, Rudi, having a beautiful, spunky and spirited, sweet and loving furkid in you! You truly are the best, and so very worthy of your big day of honor!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you today, reading your heartwarming and life affirming rags to riches story has been a joy! Hope you enjoy a very special day of celebration, Rudie, getting into fun kitten mischief, being loved and pampered to pieces, treated to all your heart desires and more! Lots of love, hugs and smooches to you, precious Rudie, our very special and most deserving Cat of the Day, EVERY day!!!

    Ready for my close-up!!!

Rudie, You and your sibling were found a day or two old. Your sibling died but you survived.

Congratulations on being Cat of the Day!
