Fluffy Theo!
Dearest Theo, you are adorable! What a gorgeous young man you are, perched there in the microwave gazing straight at me. That fluffy orange fur with white trim is so pretty and looks so very soft. My orange-with-white-trim girl Sparkler says "Hello, Meow!" She is a short-hair version and says you are the kitten she would have had if she'd ever had kittens. That fur of yours looks so luxurious, she wishes she could nestle up next to you and sink right into it! You have the sweetest face, too, with that cute pink nose and those lovely big eyes. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to L.A. to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved friend Karen will pet you for me
.
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You love to play, and your favorite things to do are running around playing fetch, jumping onto or into things like microwaves, and climbing into things like the dishwasher or bathtub, or whatever. Hey, a box is a box, right? Sometimes you think you're a dog, waiting by the back door for people. You like to be in the middle of all the action, even eating your dinner when your dear Purrrsons eat theirs so you can be with them all the time. You used to live here in Michigan with your dear friend Rachel and her family, and Sparkler wonders if perhaps you passed each other in the aisle at Pet Supplies Plus one day! Now you live in sunny California with your dear friend Karen and her family. You've found a permanent home perched at the top of Karen's head! You love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Theo, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Karen and Rachel and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
