Dearest Cody, you are adorable! What a sweet, precious Norwegian Forest Cat mix you are, here in your six-weeks picture with all that fluffy colorful fur and those big feet and that sweet face with those perky ears and lovely big golden-green eyes. I have no doubt you've gotten even more adorable as you've grown! You look so cute and compact there, out on the grass in the sunlight. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me
.
And what a nice story you have to tell! You and your dear Purrrson met when you were just a tiny kitten, one of a litter of four. You picked him/her out, and you two adopted each other! Now you're six months old, a growing boy. You're full of energy and make your Purrrson smile with your antics. Like all kittens, you love T-R-O-U-B-L-E, but you'll outgrow those bad habits soon (or so your Purrrson thinks). You're very playful, and you have taught your Purrrson to play fetch! You bring him/her a toy to be thrown so you can get it and bring it back to be thrown again. Your favorite toy is your stuffed "Grinch." You also enjoy your fishing rod with the feathers on the end that you jump high into the air to catch, and then there's that mysterious light spot that appears on the wall from the "flashlight!" You are so very affectionate and lovable, a welcoming wagon! You're a true sweetie, bringing so much love and joy to your Purrrson. You two love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Cody, on being chosen Cat of the Day for Wednesday, January 15! We hope you and your dear Purrrson and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite treats and games, maybe another round of fishing-rod play!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
