Dearest Augustus Traolach, you are absolutely adorable! What a sweet young Irish Wolfhound puppy you are, with that beautiful grey fur and that sweet face with the lovely big eyes. I can already get an idea of what a stunning grown-up you will be before long! You have the most delightful personality, too. You are full of energy and make your dear person smile with your antics, such as running like a little horse and dunking your head under water. You're also very friendly, and you love everyone! Your person says you're a character, independent and loving, and you've already filled his/her life with a great deal of love. You love her/him back just as much, don't you! What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Augustus Traolach! Congratulations on being crowned top dog, sweetheart!

What a treat, having the "rare" Irish Wolfhound as our Dog of the Day honoree; a baby Irish Wolfhound at that! Just look at those long, thoroughbred caliber legs! You definitely are going to grow to be one big, tall boy! You're only but a mere 8 weeks old and already you've stolen your human's heart, and understandably so...

The way he loves to kiss my nose, the way he barks so loudly at inanimate objects. His gentle way with children, his enjoyment of sitting by himself staring into the woods, the way learns so quickly, the way he runs like a little horse and the way he loves to dunk his head under water are some of the things that make him so special. He is a character, independent and loving. He has already filled my life with a great deal of love.

How lucky your Mom/Dad is, having a furkid, a best friend as beautiful and joyful, as gentle and loving, as special as you in her/his life! What fun she/he is in for, watching you grow and learn over the weeks and months to come, the two of you sharing so many happy time and fun adventures, the bond of love and trust you and she/he already share growing deeper and stronger with each passing day!
