    lookin for a bird!

I am looking for a bird, and I was wondering what kind I should get. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm not home all the time but would always be willing to give it attention.

    Thanks so much!

well, i don't know much about birds but i have two parakeets. they're easy to care for and (well mine) don't need someone with them all the time. just enough attention to feed and clean their cage and play with them. good luck

I have two cockatiels and they are the sweetest things. They do need attention, but since they are two, they have each other to keep them company while we are not at home. I would recommend a cockatiel if you want a bird that is very intelligent, playful, understands its humans, is adorable, can learn to talk and sing, and isn't too loud (well, mine aren't), and is easier to care for than larger birds.

    Birds I recommend:

    Parakeets
    Budgies
    Cockatiels

    Birds to avoid:

    Lovebirds
    Parrotlets

    Good luck!
