    Almost...

    I had two almosts...

I almost got to do a transport! I was sogned up tp dp a leg of a GSd transport on the 25th, but the dog found a forever instead of going to a rescue. Yeah for the dog!!!

Then, today I almost got a puppy. There were two tiny little shepard/terrier girls at an adoption event today that stole my heart. They were too cute! The one I almost brought home looked alot like Taggert. I am still worried about the poor girl. She was the runt of the litter and a tiny little thing. They were 8 weeks old and had already been spayed. The bigger one looked fine, but the little one's incision looked pussy and swollen. my mo and I toled one of the Rescue people and they claimed it was cause the shelter they rescued her from used glue instead of stitches. I don't know...it didn't look right. If it hadn't been at the end of their event, I mght have gone back for her. who knows...I may still

Amy they are way too cute. Would you take the sickly one or the bigger one? I'm such a sucker, I'd take the little one!! lol Let us know what you decide on.

Awww, try not to worry. I am sure the puppy will be just fine. It is a concern that the rescue people shrugged it off without looking at it though. But it might just be one of those things where they don't like to be told anything because they think they know everything. Maybe after you left, they ran and checked her out.

Hey, I wish you were closer. I would come make you take one of these puppies. I got my heart broken yesterday by 8 week old Shar Pei puppies. They are the CUTEST THINGS ON EARTH. We have 13 of them not at the shelter I work at but at the one I used to work at and still volunteer at. I had to leave in tears because I wanted one so much.

If I were to take one, it would be the smaller one, but as much as I want to, it is horrible timing. We are about to have our basement waterproofed and the dogs will be going to my parents for 3-4 days. Since they already have 4, i can not ask them to take my two and a new unhousebroken puppy! I know they would do it, which is why I wouldn't ask! for now, i'll just have to pray that they find good homes

I kinda had the same htought you did Aly...that the rescue people didn't want to be told they weren't keeping a cose enough eye on the puupies, but would check it out more away from the event. Would it be inappropraite to send a "concerned" email?
