What amazing ears you have, Nysa - I am sure your hearing is even better than most dogs! You are such a gorgeous girl, and we are so glad you were rescued, and now are the much loved girl you should have been all along! We are glad you get along with the bunnies in the family, too - not every dog, particularly rescues of harsh backgrounds, can be taught that bunnies are friends! We are so glad you not only are healthy now, but are growing in confidence and joy every day! And by the way, beautiful Nysa - we love how appropriate your name is! How beautiful are those warm, brown eyes, how sweet is that face? You had me at first glance, Nysa, but after reading your heartwarming bio./backstory I was a total goner! How perfectly named you are Nysa, for you truly were blessed with a new life, a new beginning, the day your family opened up their home and hearts to you! Yes, it most surely was destined that you and your mommy would be as one, and we are so grateful to all of those who had a hand (or paw) in making your homecoming a reality! I'm so sorry to hear of the untimely passing of your mentor, your furry soul mate, Pequo. But thankfully you have the love and companionship of your humans to ease the sadness, and they you! How far you've come since those first few days, transformed from a scared and uncertain pup into the happy, confidant, life loving girl we see before us today! A diamond in the rough, that you were, and oh, just look at how you sparkle and shine now! Your life may have started off on a sad and lonely note, and you may have been the last of the liter to have been chosen, but sometimes the best truly is saved for last. Just ask your mom!
