The new year's eve fireworks are freaking him out

i think it might be raining here a lil :/. Juneau is terrified of firecrackers aww. He ran away on Hallowe'en because of it

duke gets very worried during fireworks and thunderstorms. when i know ones on the way or the fireworks are going to happen, i give him some melatonin and keep him in the room with the tv/radio on so he is less likely to freak. i make sure to potty him last night about 10:30, before the morons started up here, and we made a second visit outside at 3am. hope this helps

i saw a couple of blue flashes in the sky,but nothing else much.I don't think my cats like fireworks that much either.

Reggie is TERRIFIED of the fireworks. Last night he ran off in hiding. Smokey is too old and deaf to care. Nebo doesn't seem to mind them...I opened the door to watch them and he just ran outside to pee...lol Happy New Year!

poor pets technically, firecrackers are illegal here, but not fireworks. I had to cuddle w/Juneau on the couch when the fireworks/crackers were going off.

My cats don't mind them, but my poor dog is terrified!

I wonder why they get so freaked out, I guess it doesn't help that I nearly jumped out of my skin when the first one went off
