    hiding

I think it's so cute, funny, when cats hide, but can still be seen, they just don't know it! sometimes they will have their feet sticking out, or a tail, or sometimes, like tonight, Muffin THOUGHT she was hiding, but I could see all 4 of her feet, just the rest of her was hidden. she sat there so still, believing that I didn't see her!
I'm sure all cats do this LOL

Nutmeg does this! She will dart under the bed but leave her tail sticking out!!! So if I touch it, she acts so suprised, like "Hey! How did you find me!!! " LOL

Tibby does the exact same thing. It's kind of hard to miss that furry tail!
I like it when they get under the covers and think you can't see them. But how could you not see the huge lump in the covers. THen when I lift up the coverts they get so startled as if they didn't expect me to find them hiding under my covers.
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

When Taz hides, he hides well. He gets inside boxes that are inside other things. I have to be very careful not to leave closet doors or the basement door open.
Just last weekend, he was hiding for 2 hours. I was calling for him. I went all over the neighborhood, knocked on doors, looked like a big dummy! (he's an inside kitty, but I couldn't find him anywhere. I thought maybe he darted out at my feet when I was going in and out??)
He was in the guest room closet inside a box that was behind some long dresses.
Probably sitting there laughing at me the whole time.

Taz also hides from Rocky. Rocky is a bit dependent on Taz and will cry and cry and cry very loudly when Taz isn't in his sight. So, Taz hides and listens to him.

Did you also notice that when they stand real still, they think they're invisible?!
And also some kitties at work try to hide their faces in their owners armpits as if to say I can't see you, I'm not here!!
