    Alfred is having trouble again...

Tried everything you told me , but Alfred is getting some new big spots on his lips, the problem is that after I have cleaned them with Iso betadine or peroxide of hydrogen (and try to keep it clean for a minute) , well he lickes them over and over..... they seem to be big deep spots and the Baytril 150mg didn't make the trick this time . Did any of you have had a similar problem with an English bulldog, did you use another type of antibiotics,.... or anything else. Will go to see a different vet on Monday.

    Thanks in advance

    Love from Belgium

I hope everything goes ok for you. There are many different antibiotics available. Have they done a skin scrape or any testing on him yet? Keep us posted!

Oh, poor Alfred It must be so frustrating, Pierre. And it must be so hard for Alfred to resist licking the peroxide, betadine from his lips. It continues the vicious cycle! Hopefully the "new" vet will have a more successful approach. Alfred may have developed a tolerance to the Baytril and they may have to try a new medication. I feel so bad for Alfred...and you Give the big guy a hug and good luck at the vets. Let us know what she/he says.

    Agggh Poor Alfred is right!
Doesn't feel very good to have skin problems.
Good thoughts for Alfred, that the new
Vet will have some new ideas that work.
