Once again it has been a while since I've been back, but I had the urge to come see everyone's pictures so here I am again.
I have 3 new additions since the last time I was here that I want to share.
Addaxx, 4 year old GSD
Fenyxx, 1 year old GSD
Suki, 2 year old Poodle mix
Stark, 4 month old Chihuahua
Shasta, 6 month old Cattle dog mix
Addaxx and Fenyxx were purchased from breeders. GSDs are my absolute favorite breed so I went out and found the perfect ones for me. The other 3 just sort of found me! Suki belonged to an old coworker who moved out of state and gave her to a customer. The customer kept her for 2 months and then wanted to rehome her because she was peeing in the house. I offered to foster her. That was a year ago. She managed to wiggle her way into mine and my fiance's heart. Stark was found on one of my customer's front porch. They brought in this tiny little puppy and asked if anyone knew what to do with him. He could sit in the palm of my hand. It was love at first sight. I offered to take him home right then and there. Shasta was found in the middle of an intersection sleeping under a pile of clothes during a REALLY big storm by my boss. She came into the shop soaking wet holding a dog. Told us what where she found her and asked us to warm her up. I asked what she planned to do with her and she said her only option was to call the pound. One look at that dogs face and I knew I couldn't let that happen. I offered to take her home until we could figure out what to do with her. She's still with us as a "foster", but we are in love with her and may end up keeping her.
