    Rose of Sharons

    Rose of Sharons starting to bloom in the patio flowerbed,they are 2 weeks earlier blooming than last year due to the really humid weather,only 1 flower has shown up on the Rose of Sharons in the East flowerbed outside the gate.

    Although they are pretty, their name always makes me think of the tragic Grapes of Wrath character first.

    Barry, every year you share them in photos, and every year I make sure I open the thread, as I love these flowers! I now have one in my front yard! We managed to take one from my Dad's house and it transplanted. This is the second year it has flowers, as it is still a young one. Yes down here they have opened earlier than normal, too.

    They are beautiful!

    Barry, I love these! They look so healthy and colorful! My dad has one between the garage and the trash can, but it's not doing well because of the dry weather and heat. These are beautiful!

    Pictures of the Rose of Sharon, the one in the patio flowerbed with more flowers and one outside the gate with flowers blooming,another Rose of Sharon still hasn't bloomed yet.

    Geraniums and Rose of Sharons

    Geraniums outside the shed and the Rose of Sharons behind them,flowers are coming out on the Rose of Sharons just outside the gate of the East flowerbed.

    White Poseys and Rose of Sharons

    White flowers in the flowerbed outside the kitchen window and the rose of Sharons outside the gate,flowers have really come out on the the two just outside the gate.

    Rose of Sharons in full bloom out in the East flowerbed.the Rose of Sharons in the patio flowerbed are still looking good as well,flowers have come off them all,when it gets windy and when we get rain.
