But there is a lone newborn kitten without a mama that's needs to be bottle fed. So much for respite from rescue.
I told them I would bottle feed until it's weaned (don't know if it's a male or female) PROVIDING I get a commitment to take it once it is. I can't have ANY more permanent residents in my house right now. I'm awaiting word.

I spoke with Joan (the woman bottle feeding her) last night and the kitten didn't make it.
She said the kitten was quite active the day before, but was acting lethargic. My gut feeling tells me it had distemper. The mama rejected it twice which is usually a sign.
So, I won't be bottle feeding afterall.
RIP sweet little girl. You were loved up until the end.
