Buddy and Mama - MAJOR breakthrough!

I called the cats out for their dinner..."Tinkerrrrr....Buddy...Mamaaaaaaaa.

Buddy and Mama came out to the kitchen. While I was filling their bowls I happened to look down just in time to see Mama dipping her head down and Buddy licking the top of her head!!!!! They don't hate each other as much as I thought they did. Now, I know they will be chasing each other later and Mama will be hissing and growling up a storm, but this is progress!!!

I was so excited I had to come and post this immediately.

How sweet! I understand how it made you feel to see them being friendly. I keep hoping my 2 little dogs will be friends; it's been over 2 months now.

This is great news!!! I also catch my cats doing this. Even though Pearl and Storm don't love each other like they used to, I still catch them licking each others heads sometimes. I tell them that I know that they still love each other.
