Such a beautiful rescue story, but I was horrified to read that your front claws had been removed. That is just barbaric and your owner is right to be upset. It defies description to know how you survived outside without them. But the cat angels smiled upon you and brought you to your furrever home.

This cat stuck his paw out when I looked at the kitties in the shelter. I asked to see this one and they brought him to me. I rubbed his belly and he purred ... So I said, "I want this cat please."

Chico, don't be discouraged, the Man he ain't so...........Oops, wrong Chico! You're a whole lot cuter! That picture of you and Buttons is priceless. Buttons seems to be saying 'Puh - lease! Can't a kitty get a nap?' I think you'll be okay without front claws, my RB girl Petey didn't have front claws and she would lull you in close to show you her big TEETH if you did something she didn't like! That was the toughest cat in the world and 10 lbs soaking wet, but she loved me to pieces and I loved her more. Happy COTD Chico and give Buttons the Body Guard a head bumpy for me!

Hi Chico! A very happy Cat of the Day to you, beautiful boy!
It's not often we get a "Snowshoe" as our featured honoree, so it was an extra special treat to click on COTD and see your gorgeous, blue eyed self up on my screen!
However you came to find yourself homeless is beyond me, sweetheart. But happily that "just right" forever human walked into the shelter that fateful day, and oh, what an exquisite choice you made in a forever family!
