    New Foster dog..

Please meet Raven. She just joined our pack today and so far she is fitting in beautifully. She's busy running in circles right now. She's just over a year old, has been at the shelter for most of her short life. She's a husky mix of who know's what--otherwise known as an Alaskan Husky!

    Hi Raven

AHHHHHH Raven is very cute. Sounds like she really likes being at your place.
Why was she at the shelter for so long? I wouldn't be able to resist her!

My best guess is that she is another black and white husky mix in a sea of black and white husky mixes. They are very common up here and when she came into the shelter she was past the cute fluffball stage! I am sure the right people are out there for her and will find her eventually, but I just couldn't let her stay in that little kennel anymore. She was getting quite depressed.
