Ha, that's easy!So Oscar likes to chew on plants, eh? Now, don't go and puke on the carpet, Oscar - and have your mum check if those plants are poisonos.

Is it the central tulip is longer in the second photo? Oh no...wait...you've got yourself a new gardener! And one with a very sporty collar too!

"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas

Hmm could it be the grazing, at least part vegetraian Handsome Cat in the first photo?

I can hear Oscar saying: Mom wanted to send a picture of her beautiful tulips but I thought it was about time she sent one of me. For all at Pet Talk: Oscar accepts belly rubs![]()
Beautiful photographs but glad he's interested in the primula and not the bleeding heart...
"Bleeding Heart (Dicentra formosa) contains substances known as alkaloids, which can cause tremors, loss of coordination, drooling, and in severe cases respiratory distress, seizures and possibly even death. Poisonings from this plant typically involve livestock who have grazed on large amounts. However, the potential for toxicity exists for other animal species as well, so cats and dogs should not be allowed to consume this plant."
The bottom left plant casts a much larger shadow in the first picture which mysteriously takes on the shape of a cats head. That's my best guess.![]()
Oscar was a naughty boy, getting in the way of my picture, but he wasn't nibbling the plants. Thankfully he hasn't shown any interest in doing that. He is more of a supervisor than a gardener, but will ahppily accept all kisses.
Thanks for the info Lizzie. I will certainly be keeping him away from the dicentra.
I enjoyed the flowers, but Oscar is a true heart-throb!
