Van Nuys, CA, nr LA: Mild CH Kitty at East Valley Shelter Needs OUT NOW!!
Beautiful "Bree" is NOT a Desperate Housewife
But She Does Need A Home!!

Bree A1290695 is a beautiful Russian Blue and she may have a minor case CH of cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological condition. This causes her to walk with a wider stance and a bit slower than most cats. She's a little off balance sometimes and has a slight tremor but no head bobbing or head tilt. She gets around very well and should live a normal life. (This condition does not get better or worse with age, but the cat can usually learn to somewhat compensate for it and should have a normal lifespan. Most afflicted animals can lead a fairly normal life if special considerations for the animal's disability are taken by the pet's owner.) Bree shows less symptoms than many CH cats that I've seen.
Bree is friendly, playful and likes people. When you open her cage, and start petting her, she's all over you. She will give you head butts and rub all over you. She's a big love bug and just wants to snuggle up and get comfortable with you.
The Shelter Vet really wants her to be rescued or adopted because she's such a sweet girl but she knows most of the adopters that come into the shelter will not give her a chance. Bree is a 7 yr old spayed female with a gorgeous coat and large, expressive eyes. She's a petite girl of 6 lbs. She's been at the shelter since March 7 and we need to get her out ASAP. She's on "alert" on the New Hope List, so time is important here.
Bail/Transport is available to qualified Rescuers. If you can help Bree by fostering or adopting, please call me or East Valley Shelter at 818/756-9323. Please Cross Post. Thanks,
cindy paul

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
