So many of us are conflicted regarding purchasing a pup from a pet store, knowing that in doing so we perpetuate and help support those mills. But until this country wakes up and passes strict, enforceable laws regarding "breeders," it's impossible not to intervene in times of crisis such as yours. And how well your Mommy's compassion has been rewarded, having known your priceless love and devoted companionship these many year! What an inspiration you are to us all, Maddie; humans, canines (and cooks) alike!
