I love Doobie. She is a Maine Coon and big boned, but also fat. The sweeties thing I EVER saw was when my oldest cat, Star came home from being spayed. Star had trouble getting in and out of the litter box. Doobie went over to Star and put her head under Star's belly so she could get in the litter box. Later that day when Star was lying in her cat bed, Doobie dragged a large piece of felt and put it over Star like a blanket. Maine Coons are known to be very loving good natured cats and Doobie certainly is.

Awwwww, Doobie is so very pretty, and how sweet that she took care of Star when she needed it the most! Aren't kitties just wonderful caretakers of all of us! Thanks for sharing this precious picture!!!

i love the story of doobie and star!!! very touching and sweet. maine coon cats have always interested me. in fact i purchased a maine coon cat calendar for next year....just to admire the lovely pictures each month!

Yep Doobie is a sweetie she sleeps at the end of the bed every night and then hops up on my 19 inch TV in the bedroom to get her portion of 9 lives every morning. I split a 5.5 oz can between my "girls". I always leave Purina Cat Chow out in a bowl in their room. Yes my 3 cats have their own room. I have a huge cat condo a guy I used to work with made out of carpet and wood. He and his girlfriend just had one calico and the girlfriend hated it cause it took up too much room. He thought of me and my 3 cats and I am glad I bought it. Here is a picture of my middle cat. Francine was born August 20, 2000 the day before my 35th birthday. Francine is a scaredy cat. I need to get a better picture of all 3 of them. Francine acutally growled at the vet when I had her and Doobie spayed. LOL Guess she wasn't scared of Dr. Klophinstein.
