    Big and gorgeous Buck

Dear Buck, Kiri here. I am a kitty girl who also wandered the streets on a very nice island in the Mediterranean- but there never was food and so I know exactly what you are talking about. Isn't food the nicest thing ever?
Just like you I watch the birds but there is a net on my balcony so I cannot sample how they taste.
I would much rather live with you because you are so handsome and well dressed and it seems that you do not have to share your beautiful home with a ratty little cat brother as I do.
    Lots of love
    Kiri

Hi Buck! When I first saw your pic I thought I was looking at my Buddy. You guys could make me see double. He's a big boy too and I wouldn't want to get in between him and his food dish. Your name tag is so cute. I wish I could meet you and give you chin rubbin's and head bumpers. Thank your Mommy for giving you a furever home and have a fantabulous COTD.

P.S. That's Buddy and sister Grace in my siggy

    Tuxie Buckie

Aren't you so cute and formal? You do look like a wonderful housemate. I used to have a dog named Buck; it's cute for a cat. Happy COTD today, gorgeous.

    Big Buck

What a cutie-pie. I can tell you really are loved and thank goodness you found each other. It is obvious your person wants you around for forever so I have to mention to you that Science Diet is not a very good food (I don't care what the vet says). If you google Science Diet cat food ingredients you will see that there is no meat (cats are carnivores - they eat mean - not chicken by-products (which mean feet, beaks, crap that should be disposed of!); there are "meals" of all sorts, not first grade ingredients like in Wellness, Natural Balance, Evo (all easily found and comparable prices in the US). There are grains in Science Diet (whole grain, corn gluten); things that just make your cat fat. Cats need canned food - those who are on dry food diets are susceptible to a host of diseases as they don't get enough moisture and their organs suffer greatly (renal failure, diabetes, etc.). Let's be honest, vets make money when our beloved animals are sick - they also make a lot of money on the crap food they sell, which makes our cats and dogs sick. My own vet told me that in vet school VERY LITTLE time is spent on food and she told me to NEVER buy food at a vet clinic.

While I'm sharing, I also want to mention that the clumping litters that have any "ite" products in it - sodium bentonite, etc. are to be avoided at all costs. The cement that forms in the litter box upon contact with liquids (urine) also forms in your cats body when they lick their paws and underbelly or inhale the dust from the litter - this contributes to dehydration and renal failure also. Why take the risk - just use the old fashioned clay litter and avoid any dangers for your kittycats (and dogs - as they like to go "fishing" in the box - ugh!).

Please have your pets sterilized as soon as possible to lower, and one day hopefully eliminate, unwanted and abandoned pets. It IS our responsibility. Adopting from a shelter also helps - encouraging breeders just adds to the overpopulation.

Hi there! My name is Buck! My new mom fell in love with me the minute she saw me! She was shopping on the internet for a house mate and well, the rest is history!

I'm a big boy, wow can I eat! I was out on the street for a while and never had much food, so when they brought me to the Fox Valley Humane Association they took good care of me. I was there until my mom saw me. I love to eat, eat and eat! I love my food! My mom feeds me Science Diet and tells me I am "lovable chubby!" What does that mean?

Anyway, I monitor the bird situation outside of my patio (but I am an inside cat only), and watch the bunnies when my mom is at a place called work. I don't know why I can't go along, but she kisses me goodbye and says "be a good boy!" I am just so happy that I have a forever home now!
Dear handsome tuxie Buck! My human goes to work, too. She tells me it's because she has the thumbs. While she's gone, I take lots of naps and when she comes home, I get hugs and kisses. I like to watch the birds, but I don't like to go outside. I spent enough time out there before I went to the shelter. My mom wants to type now ... , Cassie

Hi, Buck! What a handsome tuxie kitty you are -- very lovable! I'm with Cat Daddy and Mon-- I could give you chin rubs, head bumpies and kisses all day long! You are so special and I hope you have a wonderful Cat of the Day!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

Hi there beautiful Buck! Happy Cat of the Day to you! What a "lovable chubby" you are, Buck, sooo precious!
Thanks so much for taking the time out of your busy day, monitoring the birdies and bunnies and all, chowing down on FOOD, and being loved to pieces, to paw off a note to us!
I'm so very sorry you had to spend even one day homeless, sweetheart! But thank goodness for caring rescuers like the Fox Valley Humane Association, and compassionate adopters like your forever person, for setting that wrong, right! You couldn't have hoped for a more loving forever home, sweetheart, and your person couldn't have hoped for a more handsome, sweeter, precious forever furkid! I can SO understand how she/he fell madly in love, at first sight! hehe What a heavenly match!
Much love, cuddles and smoochies to you, precious Buck! Hope you're enjoying the funnest day, being loved to the max, and spoiled to rotten!
