"Do or do not. There is no try." -- Yoda
Actually, I find it terrifying! Step in, or ride a bike into, or get splashed by that, and it's gonna hurt!
I like the Boston version better:
At least it is above street level, so no one will walk into it!
I've Been Frosted
Aha, all I can think of is sewer sludge!
FAIL coffee ad, hahaa.
Oh how I remember that Boston Kettle!
.
The Oriental Tea company went bust years ago ... but I am glad the kettle still is maintained!
We have my great-grandmother's copper coffee pot in Dad's living room, and everyone who visits admires the "lovely of tea kettle" and we correct them telling them she brought it with her on the boat when they were emigrating from Sweden, because she was SURE they wouldn't make good coffee on the boat.
So I'm just as happy to think of the Boston Kettle as a coffee potor a tea kettle!

Mom and I saw that kettle on our whirlwind trolley trip two years ago!
At least we got to see the high spots of Boston. It has the most beautiful churches I ever have seen!![]()
