As a life long doggie and kitty, pocket pet parent (but birdie admirer from afar), I've always envied the parents of parrots their feathered friends' ability to "speak English!" I can only imagine how heart melting it is to have your animal child tell you, "I love you!" But potty trained as well? OK, I'm sold!
