Survivor fans, have you been watching?

I enjoy snuggling up with Groucho on Wednesday night and watching Survivor. Has anyone been following it this time around? What do you think of Redemption Island? Do you have a favorite castaway yet?
At this point I really don't want to say too much because I don't want to ruin it for those of you who haven't seen it yet. I've been a fan right from the start and am interested to know what thoughts other fans have.

Well, I don't know how to answer your questions without giving too much away. But yes, I have been watching it. Still can't stand Russell!
I am not sure how I feel about redemption island. OH WAIT!! I haven't watched last nights episode yet. I just realized. LOL I was watching American Idol. I will watch it tonight though. And then I'll let you know what I think of redemption island. Heehee. That will determine it for me.

I'm a big fan but I missed last week and last night I caught the last half hour. OMG - was he really crying????
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Love Survivor. I like Redemption Island. I just wonder how long you have to be there -- and keep winning -- before you can rejoin?

Hi Taz Zoe and Slick, The exact reason I didn't want to say too much in my opening post was because I didn't want to give anything away that might spoil it for you. A big part of the fun is trying to figure how things will play out in the end. Once you see the ones you missed I'm looking forward to we fans talking about it and guessing what happens next. Slick, since you missed the last two be absolutely sure to watch them in order. Enjoy!

Ok, just watched last nights episode. Yeah, I think I like Redemption Island.
They never said how long or when the person on RI would be brought back. Maybe when the tribes merge?

Trouble is, I didn't tape them. I just have to watch from now on. I'm so glad he's gone now though.....

Last night I watched the 2 most recent episodes again. Initially I don't think Russell had any idea what was going on, in his arrogance and monumental ego he didn't even think he'd get voted out. To see the look on his face after they lost the challenge, he knew something was up. It was no surprise that he said they threw the challenge at Tribal Council. Right up to the end I was wondering what Julie was going to do since it looked like she just might vote with Russell's side. Apparently not.

When he got to Redemption Island he showed no reaction to finding Matt instead of Francesca. I still can't figure out why the Tribe all told him Matt lost the duel. Russell was never all that good at the challenges, he always seemed to let the stronger players carry him through. It was no surprise that he lost the duel.

At the end I couldn't believe how he started to cry like a little kid! Watching the others react was fun to watch. Even though he said he won't do Survivor again, I'm not so sure.

The tribe did the right thing getting him out this early in the game while they had the numbers to pull it off. I only have one regret about it, I was really looking forward to Russell and Philip going head to head. We now have a whole new game.
