Rocco's parents are trying to raise money for IMOM (In Memory of Magic). For those of you who don't know about IMOM, they are a volunteer organization that raises funds to help with emergency medical expenses for pets.
If Rocco wins, they will donate the $10,000 to IMOM!!!

What we need to do!
Voting starts at 12 am Wednesday 3/2/11 and ends 11:59pm Tuesday 3/8/11 (7 days).
We can vote 1x a day each day - so we can each vote 7 times. Multiple votes received from any person or email address in excess of the stated number will be void. Please be sure to follow the rules - they had to take votes away from some of the pets in the first rounds already. I hate it, but you have to register to vote. But for $10,000 for IMOM I'll do it! Please forward this to at least 7 people and ask them to do the same!
I have studied the results from last year and figure we need to get about 300 votes a day. Each of the 7 days! 2,1000 votes - a lot! But we can do this!
We really need your help - what YOU can do:
1. Vote every day, each day. Put it on your to do list, Microsoft calendar, phone, alarm, write it on your hand, whatever it takes to remember to do it daily. I am more than happy to send out an am reminder. (I am a nag)
2. Send this on to your email lists and ask them to vote each day, and ask them to send it on to their email lists - but they do need to vote for Rocco (even though there are many cute pets) to keep IMOM in the running.
3. Post his link on Facebook and ask people to vote. Let me know if you need that image in a jpeg. They even have a button so you can Share on Facebook.

5. Post this on any pet forums you go to.
6. Do not split the IMOM chances in the final by putting up another pet another week.
More information:
This is a huge prize! Rocco wants to help IMOM because they helped Annalise, plus Kyah, Fresno and so many more Pets In Need. Actually over 1,800 pets in need have been helped in eleven years with donations from individuals. Rocco and his sister Rosa helped win money for their rescue from IMOM and now he wants to give back.
Each week for 12 weeks, MANY pets compete for votes against the competitors entered for their week. The weekly winner with the most votes goes on to the finals along with the next four highest vote winners from that week.
The 60 pets with the top votes from each voting period go on to the judging phase.
Judging is based on condition of pet's coat (FLUFFY!), expression of pet (he can smize with Tyra) and overall appearance (Muppetdorable). But that's getting way ahead of ourselves and judging is always subjective. Will judges think my Rocco is as cute as we do? A cat won last year I believe so I am betting that helps the dogs!
