    Miracle Miep!

    Good morning precious Miep! I'm honored to be the first to congratulate you on your well earned Pet of the Day reign! Just love that shot of you eyeing that other rattie on the magazine cover! What a beautiful rattie you are, Miep; truly a miracle girl, having "dodged so many bullets," and the most unspeakable of fates!

    What a transformation!!! As the saying goes, "a lid for every pot," and in your case it was clearly, simply a matter of finding that perfect match, that perfect forever human with the patience and dedication needed to help you become more socialized, giving you all the time you required to help you learn to love and trust! Thank goodness for good, caring, compassionate people such as her (or him), pet parents who love unconditionally! How well her kindness and devotion have been rewarded, for a human couldn't wish for a more loving best friend and furkid than you, Miep! It's great to hear that you're also enjoying the companionship of a rattie buddy, too!

    What a happy ending, what a great rescue story is yours, Miep, so deserving of our extra special Sunday honors!

    What a special story is yours, dear Miep. Gladly you were given a chance to show your true colors, and that you are now longer a biting rat, as your previous people experienced. You just needed the right person and environment, so you felt safe and not intimidated. I like how you follow your person around, and I wish you a wonderful POTD celebration with your devoted and loving guardian. May you enjoy many more happy years together!
