Hello Poncho, What a pretty bird you are! I can hear you now talking back to me. I say this every time I read that a bird can talk but I find it amazing. It really sounds as if you are very smart and no wonder your family is crazy about you.

Humans: It must be a wonderful feeling when he looks as you and says I love you. Yes, I wish my pets could do that (smile) but I know they love me & I love them. Anyway back to you Poncho, it was a pleasure to read about you. I can see that you have a wonderful home and are loved. Congrats on being POTD! Kay in NC

Oh, what a beautiful, joyful and oh so smart Quaker boy you are! I so enjoyed reading your Mommy's loving tribute to her beautiful, best feathered friend! How lucky your family is, Poncho, to have such a joyful soul in their midst, bringing so much joy to their lives each and every day!

I've been Mom to all sorts of critters over the years, from doggies and kitties to froggies and fishies! I even had a beautiful Budgie bud named Bobby (though I've yet to have the pleasure of sharing my home with a member of the parrot clan)! And while I know my critters love me unconditionally, as your Mom mentioned, I've often wondered how extra special it would be to actually hear the words..."I love you!" My heart melted reading how your Mom is greeted each morning with your "Good Mornin! Good Mornin!" song...thud! Not that's something! Oh! How lucky your family is, to have a best friend as special, as joyful and loving as you, Poncho!

Congratulations on your much deserved day in the spotlight, Poncho, with thanks to your dear family for nominating you, so that we might have the pleasure of meeting you, and paying tribute to the very special boy that you are, and all that you mean to your family!
