Prayers for folks in Queensland, Australia

First floods, and now Cyclone Yasi.

Prayers for safety, for comfort, for calm weather.

    Prayers for everyone in Queensland.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Wom, how have you been making out with all those things going on there?

There isn't a problem where I am. Armidale is sort of built in a valley with a creek/watercourse/rivulet running through it. The is a North Hill and a South Hill, and an East and West Armidale. Every now and again the creek floods, but I've never heard of anyone in East and West being affected.
I'm on the North Hill, and sort of look down towards the creek.

Town is filling up quick.....the students are arriving by the thousands, Uni starts next week.
Tenant in house No.2 is moving out soon, as April is moving in....hopefully before her lectures start. She's also got a part time job at a nursing home.
So the wages coupled with free rent and her allowance from Vet Affairs should see her ok.

The flooding in Melbourne and pretty mu all of the state was amazing the other night . My train trip took an extra hour yesterday because a lot of the stations had flooded, it was a slow ride.

I'm glad to hear you are doing all right! I started to worry a little when I was hearing about all those floods and there weren't any of your zany messages here for a while.

Prayers and Best Wishes to the people and animals of Queensland!

I know first hand how bad these hurricanes/cyclones can be. God bless all those that were affected and the personal that are there to help them.
