HI All-
Back in Sept. 2010 I heard about 2 kittens ~6-8 months old or so living outside this park.
Of course I couldn't help but go and check it out. I was greated by a very very friendly orange male cat, who was already fixed. There was a female cat as well but she was quickly trapped and taken to a lady's house who was going to foster her until this one place could take her in and adopt her out.
I started going to the park after work for a couple of weeks meeting this sweet orange boy and he was just so fun. I stopped going for a few days because I was sick and I happened to see someone posted him up on craigslist looking for home for him.
I couldn't believe it, I was trying to find him a home but I just couldn't take him in....yeah that didn't last long.
I contacted the guy who picked him up and he said he didn't see any other cats down there but this guy when he was with his kid so he decided to take him home.
I asked him if he could keep him for a few weeks till I found him a place to go. He said he could keep him for a few days but that would be it and then he'd have to release him.
I didn't like that thought because I was afraid he wouldn't come to someone again or something.
I called a lot of shelters and they were booked so the guy got him on Sunday and I picked up Achelles on Wed. What I didn't realize is that they were keeping him in a cat carrier that was a medium size if that.
I told them if I had known you were keeping him in that I would have come sooner to get him.
So Achelles came to our place in September and he is just a very very sweet boy. He is negative for FIV/FELV. Shots up to date as well and he's fixed. He is estimated to be around ~1 yr old.
He loves other kitties and he is just the sweetest thing.
