Happy 1st Gotcha Day Dixie Loo!!!!! 12/17/10 <3

I cannot believe it's been a year since we brought our little scruffy puppy home from the shelter. I have to say it's been the best year ever. She's such a wonderful dog and I am glad we opened our home and hearts to her. I can't imagine why someone would just abandon her at 9 weeks old on one of the coldest nights of the year.

I have to say I am glad they did if you know what I mean... or else she wouldn't be here with us! I never wanted another small breed dog, but when the ACO brought her in..it was love at first sight! Her brown eyes just looked at me and I was in love.. I told my parents about her as well and they came to meet her and fell in love too! Waiting a year after Rocky & Jenny had passed was well worth the wait for another dog! I am sure they had a paw in bringing this little brown-eyed black beauty into our lives! Now I'll quit the mushy stuff and get on with the pictures!

Hello Dixie Loo! You are such a young lady now, and very lovely too. You look like you enjoy a good snuggle, too. So I am sending belly rubs, I know thy will be delivered!

Too bad she doesn't like toys, eh?

More than HALF of those photos show her with a toy! LOL she seems to have quite a collection, as well. Two pics - holding the green haired pony, and holding the I Wuff You toy -- there is a wonderful sparkle in her eyes, he hee. (I don't mean th flash, either). What a love!

Thank you Freedom! YES she loves, loves toys!

I will definately rub her belly for you.

She is a love!! The pink toy is a loofah dog toy. She loves those. She is getting plenty for Christmas don't you worry.

And yes she always has a sparkle in her eye no matter what.

Happy First Gotcha Day, dear Dixie Loo! I enjoyed all these pictures, especially your "firsts". How sweet of mom to take the pictures of those. You were a darling little one and now you are a beautiful, big girl! Please have your mom give you a hug from me!
