    Well, This Is ,,,,,,Different

Interesting, but don't know if I'd be up for this or not.

While it sounds interesting and may be fun to do I can think of many far better uses for that kind of money... I am sure you could too

I'll pass on the canaries and the mushrooms... but spending a night with the reindeer might be really fun

We first found out about Hardy's Reindeer Ranch when my oldest niece was attending the University of Illinois. It was an essential autumn visit those 4 years and although she graduated several years ago I still like to go there. None of Hardy's reindeer have red noses but they're otherwise the real deal! (and U. of I. vet med students make a visit to them as part of their training)

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

A relative of mine used to work at a reindeer ranch, and around this time of year he transported a team of reindeer all over the country to haul Santa's sleigh in parades. Whenever his route permitted, he would stop by my parents' house for a visit. The reindeer were put out to graze in my parents' (big) yard.

Well, it's a small town, and in no time about half the residents would show up to take pictures of the reindeer. It was quite the local event!
