Spent New Yrs Day (night) at Vet ER

Poor Snoopy had tummy problems and we ended up having to take him to ER vet place. Didnt get home until 2:00 a.m. this morning. We got there at 11 p.m. and they didnt seem busy but managed to drag it out until 12:45 a.m. when we left. Needless to say, I didnt make it to church this morning. Hubby did but I was dragging and really needed to stay home keep eye on Snoopy.

He got shot (for vomiting) and medication for diarrhea. $168 and change later(pet insurance will pay 90% of balance after $100 deductible). Get something back.

Snoopy was a trooper and has really enjoyed the chicken/rice diet. No further problems today thank goodness.

Poor Snoopy. Do you know what caused his tummy trouble? Good to hear he's doing better.

No cause we can pin point. It's suspected Giardia never was fully gone.

Good news that Snoopy is doing better. I hope he stays that way.

Snoopy, that was no way to ring in the New Year! Even if it WAS NYDay, not Eve.

I hope you feel lots better, Snoopy Do! Sending you some gentle cuddles.

    Everything is staying down
Diarrhea has become an issue (since he is eating white chicken/rice people food).
He has problems in first thing in morning with acid reflex from people food. So, I went and got 4 cans of I/D food from the vet's office. This stuff has more humph to keep him going during the nighttime
