Phesina's Christofur

I hope it is okay with you, Phesina that I am starting a separate thread for Christofur's health.

His full story is in this thread. In a nutshell, he has a more severe cerebellar hypoplasia than Bob or Elmer. At his vet visit the doctor noted that his vision and hearing are diminished, and Phesina posted that he had a seizure today so they are going back to the doctor tomorrow. He is six months old, orange and adorable. I believe in the power of PT thoughts and prayers so I would like to ask for some for this sweet kitty boy.

Oh, thank you so very much, all you thoughtful and kind and generous people!

He has not had another one since yesterday afternoon, and he seems to be doing much better.

i had been told he had them from time to time before but had not seen one yet. I will write more after we see the doctor today.

Christofur will have the PhesianCat to be with, once they become used to him. I know that Moose the MagnfiCat and Lilly Abngels will join many of Our Pet Talker Angels Corps to comfort Christofur!!

Thank you so much, all you wonderful, caring folks! Your messages are very heartwarming for Christofur and me.

The vet wants me to keep track of any more seizures on a calendar: note date, time of day, and duration.. starting with this one today.

She said he probably will have more.. it is very hard to eliminate them completely, but we will work hard to tune up his medication to cut them down as much as possible. He has been through a VERY stressful time over the last week: moving from the only home he'd known (where he was way over-medicated) and being transported to my place where he has to get used to an entirely new environment and way of life!

All your love and concern and caring for him are helping him immensely! Thank you again, everyone.

I'm thinking that with the proper meds and all the loving care you're going to dish out to young Mr. Christofur he will adjust and thrive and in no time will be showing all the wonderful things he is capable of.
