Good morning and a very happy Dog of the Day to you, beautiful Charlotte; what a stunningly beautiful GSD/Husky you are! My beloved Cody was a rescued Husky/GSD cross too; some refer to you breed blend as AK Husky, so how fitting it was that you lived a part of your life in AK! It's hard to believe you're 11 years young, sweetheart; must be all of that fresh air, good loving, and your action filled life that keeps you so young, a puppy at heart! What a wonderful, adventure life you have been blessed with Charlotte. I can only imagine how special it was for an outdoor loving pup with Husky roots to have lived in Canada and AK...and Anderson Island WA, even better!
What a treasure your Daddy found in you that fateful day at the shelter! I can't imagine anyone surrendering a doggie as special as you Charlotte, but there's no doubt you found your way to the forever family you were destined to be with; well worth the wait! I so enjoy reading how your Daddy found you, how he found your Mommy, and well, the rest as they say is history! And oh how your family has grown since your homecoming, and how lucky all of your human sisters and brothers are, having grown up with such a loyal, loving, active best friend and companion such as you, Charlotte! You're a gentle giant, a doggie with a heart of pure gold, a friend to all, and it's no surprise to learn that everyone who meets you falls hopelessly in love!
Thank you for starting my day off with a big smile, Charlotte! I hope you and your doggie sister, kitty pals, your humans young and old (), enjoy a very special day celebrating your well earned day of honor, and many more happy years together! BIG hugs and kisses to you, beautiful Charlotte!
