How lucky I am to be the first to greet you this morning, beautiful Maxine!! My Lab Star would tell you "blonds have more fun!" But I think you sweet girl just might be the happiest "brunette" Labbie on the planet! Isn't it fun being a Lab?? It's only 6am here, but already this household has enjoyed a round or two of "jack rabbit!" What a terrific family you have Maxine, the envy of doggers all over the world! And of course you have your humans, Nana too, wrapped around your precious paw. Who could resist you??!! I know that as she/he grows, you and Bud will be best buds, devoted companions and gentle playmates to your new skin sibling! Every junior 2 legger needs a loving fur friend like you to share those growing up years with. Yes, Maxine, you are loved by SO many, and rightfully so. And today I want you to add me to your long list of admirers!! Congratulations to you, dear Maxine, our sweetest, most gentle, fun loving Labbie Dog of the Day! I'm sure that today you're going to be spoiled rotten! Hugs and kisses to you Maxine from Sandra, Star and Cody! What a special girl you are!

A beautiful, shiny, Black Labbie girl gracing our pages this morning was exactly what I needed to see!!!! Maxine, aren't you just the best?? A new baby that feeds you Saltine Crackers, and who will give you a run for your money in a few years, I'm sure!!!!

Until then, keep sneaking those kisses and making that baby smile. I'll be she already loves you!! I certainly do!!!

Max, you are a beautiful shiny black lab! And a new baby to feed you? Oh, you are soooo lucky! Just wait till she gets older, she'll be sneaking you all the food she doesn't like or want to eat, you'll have it made in the shade!

Why am I NOT shocked that Sandra is such an early birdie today?? It's that special 6th sense of Labbie Lovers! So here I am, I 2nd the excitement to see you, Maxine, as our very extra special Friday DOTD! Max! You are such a beaute! I could just kiss your expressive, adorable, soft face all day!! (You were looking a food, weren't you?)

Maxine, you have such a pretty face. You'll have to watch your waistline with that new baby -- my dog Lassie got soooo fat when my son was little. I remember one day when he tossed her an entire hamburger that I had just placed in front on him. Lassie enjoyed it.

Good Morning Maxine, what a beautiful girl you are and so deserving of being spoiled. It sounds like you have a great time with Bud, running around the house etc. etc. A special place on the couch and on the big bed, wow you are truly special.

I have a very soft spot for black Labby furkids, so seeing your picture this morning brought me immediately to the dog board.

I know a very handsome gentleman that is exactly your age and shares in the ability to be an "imp" on demand. He just loves those tennis balls.

Black Labs can always be counted on to be loyal, fun loving and full of the devil. That is why we always make sure you have special places on the couch, bed or wherever you chose.

You, Maxine, are a real beauty and it is easy to see why you have been chosen to receive a special honor today as our Dog of the Day!

If it is possible, I hope today, you will be even more spoiled!

Maxine you sound like a barrel of fun - launching off the bed and burning off all of your pent-up energy. My Bella would just love to have a good romp with you! I love the look of concentration on your cute little face. I am only guessing that it must have had something to do with a "t-r-e-a-t."

Oh, by the way, Bella also gets food slipped to her via my grandson. She says to just wait until you get to taste those animal crackers that the skin kids eat. Don't worry, though, they aren't made from animals! Have a great day because you are our very special Dog of the Day!
