    Photoshoot with the kitties...

    Today in my newspaper class we had this speaker come in and teach us how to take pictures, since they're always the weakest part of our paper.

    Anyways, once I got home I wanted to play around with my camera and all the settings she told us about. Of course I used the kitties and Sadie as my model!

    Gypsy:
    Had some issues setting my camera up right here [it's a crummy little digital]



    Felix:
    He was in a dark little shelf in my room [pardon the mound of clothes]

    Lexi wasn't feeling very photogenic, haha.

    *sigh* sometimes I still can't believe how MASSIVE Felix has gotten. I want my kitten back! Can you believe we've had him for almost a year?!

    Wow! I need a photo taking class. I love the second one with the light coming into Gypsy's face. The last one is beautiful as well. Nice job!

    thanks guys! The weakest part of our newspaper has always been the photos, so we're trying to change that.

    I took some more of Felix last night...it was at night in a dark room with one lamp...after playing around with all the little buttons I could find, I got this:


    I wish it weren't so yellow...

    Your pictures are fantastic! But I'm sure having such beautiful models helped... and they are beautiful kitties. There's no question about it, you clearly aced the class! Sending tons of scritchies and lovies to your furbabies!

    You should be able to filter out the excess yellow, or otherwise color-correct the picture.

    But what a nice picture of Felix!

    Yeah. Unfortunately i don't have that option on my camera [guest speaker looked and looked and couldnt find it] but I'm sure if I took the time in photoshop I could figure out a way.
