My sister's baby shower gift...

One of many I'm sure. I started painting this when I first found out my sister was expecting. It stood naked with just the two birds and the background for months. Well, she's due next month and thankfully the finishing touch just came to me this morning. I wrote a tiny poem and added it.

The whole poem was originally longer but to fit it I had to shorten it a bit.

Here's the original poem which I'm going to write on the back;

mothers are one's true friend from beginning to end
so hold her hand, hold her near, and lead her through
as a mother's love grows and blossoms as you do.

I suppose I'm just looking for opinions... if you were expecting and your sister gave you this as a present, would you enjoy it? Mothers?

If my sister would have given me such a personalized gift I would have hung it in the baby's room and would have treaured it for the rest of my life. Then I would have handed it down to the daughter it was made for when she had a daughter.
Unfortunately I never had a sister. A gift from the heart always means much more than anything money can buy.
