No doubt about it Jester, snoozing in the sun atop a pillow of soft green grass, romping on beaches and in fields, receiving belly rubs on demand, waay better than racing around in circles, any ol' day! Oh, what a life! I'm sure it wasn't easy at first, making the transition from work dog to pampered pup, but by all accounts it sounds as though you're quickly learning to love and relish all of those perks that come with being a beloved member of a family of caring humans and furry sibs! And you give back just as good as you get, being such a wonderful ambassador for Greys worldwide, teaching all who will look and listen of the great rewards of Greyhound love! And what an incredibly selfless act, donating blood to ailing pups in need! What a priceless gift that is! And oh, being the handsome, elegant, photogenic young man that you are, who better to model the Silver Peacock's line of stylish Whippet/Grey neck wear than you! (I noticed that stylish collar as soon as I clicked on your photo...so retro! hehe)

Loyal and loving companion and furkid, the consummate doggie model, so generous of heart and spirit...and smart to boot...you're simply the best, Jester! Well, I could go on and on, but I'll just end with saying that yes, you are truly blessed to have found your way to such a caring, loving family! But it is they, and everyone else who crosses your path, who are the truly lucky ones for having known and loved you! Congratulations on your much deserved day of honor, beautiful Jester! I hope you and your pup sib Perdy, the Maine Coon kids Darwin and Ember, all enjoy a very special, fun and love filled day! Hugs, kisses and belly rubs to you sweetheart, and to Perdy too...and to the kitties!

    Hi Jester!!!!!!

Good morning to you, magnificent boy!! You are such a stunning Greyhound. We are taken aback by your good looks. Too bad Perdy is not the best buddy right now but maybe she will come around. We know life in your house has to be great anyway. We are so impressed to hear that you are a model and a blood donor. Such a special boy!! Congrats on your big day as our wonderful DOTD!!! Please tell the family to add some extra kisses today for you for being our dog in the spotlight. Some for the other fursibs too. Happiness always!!!!

Love, Daisy and Delilah in Sunny, HOT, Florida

    Jester!!!

Wow...what a gorgeous greyhound! I'm glad that you were rescued...even though greyhounds love to run, I think it's great that you run when you want to..!

Jester, you are so very handsome! I can certainly see why you're a model! And a blood donor too, that is wonderful. I like the photo of you on the red blanket. I hope you have a wonderful day as Dog of the Day and a very happy life! Come back and visit us again!

Handsome boy, Jester! I am so glad you found a loving home, one which knows how to help you learn to be a pampered pet!

I loved reading about you, and the photo o you on the bbeach, with a coloul collar, is superb!

We had a thread about blood donor dogs on here recently, that is such a wonderful thing that you do. My dogs are too small to qualify as donor pups. I pray they never need blood, but if they do, it is thanks to dogs and their owners like you and yours that mine will be helped.

And it seems you are a spokes pup as well! I have seen many greyhounds around here (RI has only recently past a bill ending grehound racing in this state, it takes effect in August), and at the annual Pet Expo the rescue group always has many pups appearing.

Have a great day, it sounds like you are Dog of the Day every day at your home. YIPPEE!
