Nice garden! I love the decorations
Here it's very cold right now. We had a warm April, but in May it is almost freezing every night! The tomatoes are still in small pots but they will be planted by the end of the week, probably.

I can't wait for my first tomato sandwich, which is always on white bread with store brand version of Miracle Whip. I never have the first one any different than that, though later I'll make different varieties of a tomato sandwich.
I always let Chip have the very first tomato picked, though, since he's the one who does all the veggie gardening.

Love your gardens, but NO - it MUST be Hellmans' Mayo! I await the first ones as well; I generally just don't eat tomatoes off season, they're just yucky.

    Mayo? Blech! LOL!

I was born & raised on Miracle Whip, one of the few name brand items my Mom bought as we were very much on a budget. That and Downy fabric softener. I still use Downy but have found that the store brand "salad dressing" tastes just as good as Miracle Whip and is much less expensive since we are now on a budget!

The only other 3 items I insist on the name brand of are Brawny paper towels and Scott toilet tissue(it's best for disintegrating in our private septic system) and facial tissues in the big box. I hate tissues that come out of the box through plastic inserts in the opening--causes tons of tiny tissue dust!

Wow, we get a glimpse of your property, looks HUGE! What a lot of lovely photos.

I LOVE asparagus, though I don't grow it. I prefer the slender stalks, no peeling needed, no woody bits, yum! And those tomato plants! I have 18 seedlings in, they are WAY smaller. I think we are behind you weather wise, for one thing.

All those decorative planters are so great, and the fact that they have meaning to you is an extra. Although, I think those are tea KETTLES, not tea pots, you have the impatiens in, he hee.

    Thanks for sharing!

BTW, I ONLY use Cains brand mayo, not that salad or sandwich dressing stuff! Cains is only available in New England, so when I went to school in DC (over 25 years ago), I used to take a suitcase full of it with me on the plane! Hmmm, wonder what airport security would make of that if I had to do it today? He he heee.

Our house sits on .08 acres but we have 80 acres of woodlands, wetlands and farm lands surrounding us. All but one small piece is owned by us or other family members.

Peel asparagus? Never heard of that before! We just microwave it until it's tender. I put salad dressing on it, my husband puts mayo on it.
And as we south jersey 'farmers' say, "you haven't had a tomato until you've had a Jersey tomato!" (as a side note, in South Jersey we do not say "joisey", LOL! We say "jer-zee")

You are right, they are kettles but I've always called them "pots"...they came from my husbands late Grandmom's basement.

It's a shock to travel within the US and not find things you are used to. You can't get a good hoagie/sub in Arizona. I asked for one out there once and they didn't know what I was talking about.
