It was bath time for miss Brookie :)

GAH. I love Brooke, but sometimes I'm just about ready to kill her. Somewhere along the line she was taught that it was okay to rub her big fat head everywhere after I take the bridle off...resulting in a battle between her and I over whether I put the halter on or she gets to rub. She's also started biting again, probably because kids are feeding her in the grooming stalls. She got my thigh yesterday, and it's all swollen and purplish! She also forgot how to walk nicely on a lead. Going back into the barn, she started trotting several times, and then when we spun in a small circle (only way I can stop her in her halter), she'd put her head down and start eating grass. 0.0 I was SO angry with her.

But...at the same time, I still love the little snot. She's a total sweet heart...they were spraying down the outdoor arena while I was riding in there and she couldn't care less that we were cantering through mist or next to a huge orange tractor Jumping was...interesting. Brooke wanted to be all forward and cut a stride off all the lines and take the looooooong spots..but I wanted to wait. We usually took the long spots, haha. And I've lost all ability to steer into corners...so it was interesting. But we had a few good jumps

I had to bathe her after cause she was all nasty and sweaty (it was over 80 yesterday), and my mom took some pictures. Sorry my face is all red...it got all sunburnt from riding outside since I forgot to put sun screen on.

I'm not sure what was happening here.

    Enjoy

Brooke is a beauty! My pups need baths and I'm feeling quilty for putting it off after thinking how big a horse is to bathe!

lol I'd take bathing a horse over a dog any day. She loves the hose - her lips start flapping and everything Sadie on the other hand...it's a day long process bahaha
