    Candles are running low again..

There were only three candles on our site again this morning. I lit another one.

Please light some others again so our site doesn't go out! - http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/...eng&gi=pet%20t

I lit some candles for my dear friend Annette, and for her cat Swinky. He was put to sleep yesterday, 19 years and 7 months old.

Annette is devastated of course, and I feel very sad too. Swinky was such a lovely kitty.

Rest in peace, dear boy! You will never be forgotten.

    (((hugs))) to you, Annette.

    We were down to 4!

So I lighted a few. Please, let's not have the page go out at Christmas time.

I just lit one, a Christmastime greeting for all our Pet Talk friends (http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/...ng&cid=9833655).

I lit one today for Jen's Amber.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Only TWO burning now!

There are only two candles now!

One I lit this morning when I saw just one that was about to go out, to keep the site lit, and then another just this evening for little Miss Angel kitten who is having a troublesome tummy ache.

For her story see the thread in Cat General at http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...154979&page=63..
(By the way, it's a LONG story.. so start at post 934!! on page 63!!! to read about the tummy ailment.)
