starting fundraiser please take a look!

Hi I'm getting ready to start a fundraiser the fundraiser is for the Humane society and i have no idea what i should do!

Any ideas will be good and all of the money is going toward finding the animals homes and keeping them healty!

Have you mentioned your idea to your teacher?? She might be of some help in making it a class/school project. Also, often local busninesses are willing to donate space, goods, etc. for a good cause. Maybe you could get a business to donate a service or item to be raffled off? Bake sales are always big hits and could be possibly be held on your school or church's property. I've seen car washes and even "doggie washes" held to raise money. The weather might not permit that now though. I would also contact your local rescue groups or the Humane Society itself. They often publicize the good deeds of citizens in their efforts to fundraise. They might be able to give you some ideas! I applaud your efforts...good for you! Good luck and let us know how it goes. Just noticed that Chewmonkey has a thread going in this forum.."Fundraiser." I think you might be around the same age. She is hosting a fundraiser for a local shelter...a bakesale! You guys should talk and share ideas! What great young adults we have here!!
