    Mouse Management 101

Eve has been extremely sympathetic with many of her peer PT kitties regarding the management of those pesky furry mice that seem to appear and then disappear ....

I was lucky to capture a few moments of her busy day as she "herded" one of her pesky mice into submission

Eve, I know how you have to keep an eye on those mousies, they can disappear. You're a good little huntress - do you think you could give me lessons so I don't lose mine again?

    Pinot,

It would be wonderful to learn how to keep those mice in line together; imagine the fun we could have

What a beautiful mouse-manager Eve is! Eve, I would love it if you could teach Cassie how to not lose her mice under the refrigerator.

    Elyse,

That is the real challenge Evie's mice and other toys go missing all the time - occasionally we fish them out from wherever they are "hiding" but usually, Mommy has to "find" more mice

P.S. I rarely come home from the pet store without a furry mouse - Eve checks her bags diligently and if (and when) Mom forgets, the look on her face just devastates me Can you say spoiled????

    Dear Calvin & Hobbes,

I envyz your skill at seeing those mices "slip" underneathz the pawz; they always surprize me My favourite is catching themz while they're flying thru the air Mom and Dad thinkz itz pretty spezul when I jumpz up reel high and do a belly flopz right on top of themz

Sometimez I stalk themz when I walkz along the railing really slow so they don'tz hear me and then pounce on them (Mommez stops breathing when I do that)

    Keep up the good workz

    Purrs,
    Eve

Evie- that is very cute of you that you miss Tigris. We miss him as well. Well, uncle Siegmar and I do- I am afraid Filou doesn't miss him too much.
We hope to see you again one day- I will not forget how you made sure we had a very good bed there and kept the mousies out

Hi Eve, From the pictures, it's easy to see how hard you work to keep those mousies in line. But for some reason they like to run away and hide. You're doing a super job, sweetie!

Sending you lots of scritchies and lovies
