9 yr old Attacked by Pit Bull

A nine-year-old boy is in the hospital Thursday after being seriously injured by a pit bull in Providence. An eyewitness said Corey Kue (pictured on link) had been playing in a yard with other children in the city's West End Wednesday when someone opened a door to the home of the dog. The dog came charging out and chased Kue. Bitting him all over. A neighbor lady got the dog to stop the attack and was able to get the boy home. Please watch video of the newscaster talking about the attack and showing the dog.

That is very sad for the little boy and his family. I hope he will make a full recovery.

I am also sad for the dog and the circumstances that led him to be so aggressive. He must have had a tough life.

I agree. And of course, this will probably stir an outrage and people will push for BSL and etc etc. It's so frustrating.

stupid stupid people not properly training their dogs.... grrr!!!!!

I agree! It's going to get the BSL for that matter they have already got there hands on it. But I really hate to say do to the pit bull looking and acting as mean as he is, this dog must get put down. I hope they hold the owners of the dog accounted for. I still wish they would make a law banning owners that in the past have had mean dogs or have some criminal act would make a law that does not allow them to own dogs. Anyway, I am sorry to have put this one out there but I felt it needed to be known.

Thanks for sharing it... and I feel the same way about holding the owners accountable.
